My old roommate, Amy

When I was a sophomore in college at NIC I lived in the dorms my first semester. Well, although it was a very fun experience to have, I needed to get out of there! The rooms were tiny, the rent was high compared to apartments in the area, and well, my roommate David was a pain in the ass.

So the plan was to move into an apartment over Christmas break, with my friend Bob (from the last entry), and someone else. Who this someone else was, I had no idea. I had made a lot of friends there at the dorm, but none of them wanted to move out and get a place. I had been playing intramural volleyball, and there was this very cute and funny girl on my team, whom I barely talked to. All I knew was that her name was Amy, and she was good at Volleyball. (As our team won the intramural championship) Well, it wasn't until later, that one of my friends at the dorm had told me their friend Amy was looking to get out of the house she was living in. So I had to beg and plead my friend to push Amy into living with me and Bob. Sure, it was most likely strange for her, to move into a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 guys she had no clue about. Eventually I got Amy's phone number, and was able to talk her into how the arangement would work out.

Believe it or not, the arangement at that time, was that Amy and I would be sharing a bedroom, and Bob would get his own. (Because I hated his girlfriend at the time, and didn't want to be in the same room that they did the nasty.) Amy actually agreed with that. Strange, strange, strange indeed. Well we signed up, got the place, and ended up in a different situation, since Bob at that time had ended his relationship with the psycho-hose-beast. So Amy got her own room after all.

All three of us had good times living together, we'd have a nightly ritual of sitting on the couch after everyone came home from school/work/play and watch Jerry Springer and eat Ramen Noodles. When Bob moved away, it was just me and Amy for a few months. She was probably the easiest person to live with, that I have ever lived with. We wouldn't fight over stupid stuff like the dishes, or laundry, or anything. We lived in peace and harmony. I do have to admit though, if I've ever had fantasies of gettin' it on with a female roommate I've lived with, all the fantasies were of Amy. Haha. She was a hottie. She'd wear these pajama bottoms and a little tank top that showed her belly whenever she walked around the house, and the pajamas had a rip at the top so it showed like, 3 inches of her hip, and glimpses of her undies. What a turn on. I think she wore those *to* turn me on.

Oh well, enough perving on old memories. I'm glad Amy was around when we needed her. If I was in serious need of a roommate, I wouldn't hesitate calling her up and telling her to move to Cali. :0P

Thanks Amy!

My friends Bob and LeAnn

The above picture I took with one of those crappy disposable cameras, so I apologize for it's poor quality. I met Bob my freshman year of high school, he was actually a friend of Mike, a guy I had met the year before in 8th grade English class. I'm unsure of the specifics, but we somehow became unseperatable. Hanging out at lunch, playing basketball in front of Bob's house after school, playing video games, having "sleep overs" in which we wouldn't ever really sleep, but stay up late watching stupid cable shows, and again, playing video games. Bob even got me involved in the local YMCA, where I ended up becoming a Volunteer of the Month, and doing an extreme amount of volunteering. It was all a ton of fun for me. YMCA Summer Camps, trips to conferences, and the Teen Leaders Club were all a part of my routine. This is where I met LeAnn, whom Bob had already been friends with from his summers at Y-Camp before I arrived. LeAnn went to Boise High School, and was a very true and kind individual. We would spend times together at Moxie Java, the local coffee shop, and countless other things.

The picture was taken before Bob was moving away to Milwaukee, to be with his then-girlfriend, now-wife, Alicia. They were married last summer in Iowa (where Alicia's parents live), and I was the Best-Man. I can distinctly remember one of the nights me and Bob spent playing video games at his house, and us talking about being each others Best Men at our weddings. It makes me smile. One day Bob will be standing by my side, giving me support and love, at my wedding.

It makes me smile.

Danielle - My High School Model

I started taking Photography courses back at Centennial High School in Meridian, Idaho when I was a sophomore. I fell in love. It was my favorite class to go to at the end of the day. When the Photography instructor Mr. Beckwith asked me to be on next years Yearbook staff, I couldn't help but say yes! I mean, hell, I get time out of other classes to go to events and such happening in the school to take pictures! Going to football games and capturing all of the action of the team, the game, and the crowds onto a thin piece of celluloid was just an amazing feeling. I'd jump up onto the fence that seperated the bleachers from the football field (our football team played at the local college stadium Boise States smurf turf) and I was an instant cheerleader! People loved getting their pictures taken, and I liked taking them. It was a passion of mine, and still is.

The one person I loved taking pictures of back then, was Danielle. I met Danielle in my photography class. She was quite the talented photographer, as well as a beautiful girl. We became friends, and had a little relationship going on, but most of all we were friends. She was a grade above me, and that inevitably lead to us not continuing our relationship. She was off to college, I was still in high school. But we were happy for what we shared, and I was happy for the vivid images she gave me, not only on film, but in life.

Boise, Idaho - Boise River - The Greenbelt

So this is the first Blogtography entry that includes a photo! WOO HOO! Yes, that's the original intent of Blogtography...I didn't just think of a silly name for a blog, I mean for this to be a Photo-blog to the fullest extent. Yay!

So I grew up in Boise, Idaho - lived there until I was 18-19 years old, then moved around a lot for College and whatnot...never really went back to Boise to stay for long. Now it's referred to as where my parents live. That makes me feel old. :0) I haven't visited there since Christmas of 1999, but I shall be going back there this summer!! Boise is very gorgeous during any season, and the picture above is actually a photo taken by Chris Butler of the Idaho Statesman, I worked with him on a Highschool type project where we went out in the workforce. It was very fun and exciting, I can remember that.

Anyhoo, I will be taking pictures myself from now on, I only put up this Boise River picture because it is indeed a beautiful sight, and I do miss it.

Enjoy!

Well things have gotten much better in the past few days. My car was fixed, my blood was worked, and my sites are up! Yippee!

So I will be doing a great service to my friends, as Blogtography has already become a small community of sorts. Nikki now hosts her Blog here, and Jay will be moving his here when he takes down his site, and StarGirl of CC Fame will be hosting her Blog here as well, designed by moi'. :0) There just may be a few more friends of mine hosting their blogs here in the near future as well, we'll wait and see. Of course I'm going to make them all place a button on their site that says something like "POWERED BY THE ZIOVIX EMPIRE!"...or ya know..somethin like that. ;0)

Anyone looking to get drunk faster, here's a trick I learned today. Get blood taken outta you, then go drink a few beers...it feels like you've drank twice what you really did! Amazing!

Ahh, a clear, new, bright day. Strange that one day you can feel completely and utterly helpless, and the very next day you're ready to take on the world and all it's challenges. I read my last post, and fuck it. If there is one thing that I do know about myself, is that I am positive. I may have moments of doubt, but it's all about the pressures of negative energy, pressing on the positive forces.

I'm positive.

Need some sunshine?

Even though none of you can read this blog at the moment (due to the DNS being updated and such), I figured I'd write anyway. It's been almost 2 weeks since I last blogged on my old site (oh we shall miss Chazio.com...not.), and I've felt the need to write, no matter if you can't see.

Much change happens to a person in the span of a month or two. I can't help but feel different about myself. Maybe I'm not the positive person I thought I was? Maybe I'm a sore-hearted individual seeking and never finding. If i just hold my breath, maybe I can escape this life that has clouded itself with stench and aromas that none should ever have to inhale into their soul. Maybe I'm writing this garbage to sound intelligent and look like a tortured artist of some sorts.

Who are we? Who are we really? Isn't the purpose of life to seek our identity? Are there really people who can say "I know who I am."? Why do I ask so many questions, and give few answers?

It's because I don't know.

I don't know.
