Lots of work over the weekend, and some bar-hopping, but mostly work. :0P Kain and Ray and myself went to the 35er on friday night, then I worked saturday and sunday night, and I work in about 50 minutes tonight. :0P
I seemed to have stretched out not paying my cell phone bill a bit, and now they've shut it off. Oops. :0P So, Mom and Dad, if you're reading this, you now know why I haven't called you in a bit. Hehe. Don't worry, I'll pay it and all that junk...but if you want to talk to me, call my home number. ;0)

Well my days off have been spent laying around the house, hanging out with Donyell (apparently I spelled it wrong last time, :0P ), and watching tv.
We watched "Memento" last night, which I've seen 4 times since I bought it recently. It hasn't gotten old, I love it, and I've caught on to a few more things that happen during the movie, that just make it SO much better!
Ty drove us to the store late last night, to buy some Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. It might not seem like a big event to you, but Ty just bought his car recently, just got his plates and registration, and his insurance. Plus, he's never drove a stick-shift before. He was nervous, but he handled it pretty well. Go Ty! :0P
So yah, I bought some Chunky Monkey Ice Cream...yummy! My favorite!
Donyell left just a few minutes ago, she's flyin' up to San Fran for some swing dance competition, then she'll be flyin' back home to Seattle. Her flight doesn't leave until 7pm, but she wanted to be there 3 hours early, with all the new regulations and whatnot, it might be a long wait just to get checked in. :0/
Alright, well I'm gonna go get a haircut today, I'm lookin' mighty scruffy!

The true land is in the heart.
After working until 1am last night, Estevan, Tyrico, Donnielle, and myself went bowling. Donnielle is visiting from Seattle, and she wanted to go out after being trapped in the apartment all day. So what do you do at 1am? Go to the 24-hour bowling alley in Hollywood! :0P So I ended up kicking everyone's ass, with scores of 126, 138, and 163! Awwwh yah, I rock the house! :0P Everyone else scored under 100. Hahaha! Boooyaaaah! :0)
Nothing too exciting is happening today, just gotta work at 4pm and that's about it!

Part of the day was spent watching movies, some of it was watching news.
Then tonight we went to a play the Academy Company was doing, "Move over Mrs. Markham". Very funny! It was a good night, and I'm glad I went out to see it. Saw some good friends do some very good performances. Plus, Sheena had to be in her underwear during some scenes, it was so cute! Sexy! :0P Betty Karlan (Company director), asked me if I was available, if they need me, to be a guest actor in some of their shows. The company this year is low on male actors, and sometimes they want to do shows that require more men then they actually have, so I said yes. So she has my number, and when they may need me, they'll give me a call! Cool! :0)
Estevan went to a flag store today, the shelves were almost bare. There were only so many flags left to buy, and when he got there, a rush of people ran in to buy flags. He said everyone was very polite, with it being so crowded. Everyone was talking to each other, being very friendly and nice. Estevan waited an hour and a half to buy a flag to hang on his car while driving, people behind him wait around 2 hours...but nobody seemed to mind. That's just awesome to hear. The bad news though, is that Estevan underestimated the wind while driving on the freeway, and the flag flew off his antennae while we were on the way to the show tonight. :0( He said he would go in and wait another hour and a half for another flag tomorrow.
In other news, what the fuck is up with our airports?! After all this, and the "heightened" security, how did those guys they arrested earlier with the fake pilot licenses and uniforms even get INTO the airport! They had friggin' knives with them! Sure, I know they were caught before anything happened...but it seemed WAY TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT! I don't care if they search through my underwear or anything in my luggage, I'd give up my privacy rights like that if it means I'd have a safe flight with no crazy hijackers on-board! I'd even take a pat-down, everyone needs a good "how's your father" every now and then!
Okay, work tomorrow, I'm goin' to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! Night!

We're on a waiting list to give blood, because they were booked yesterday.
We donated money to a relief fund set up at Power 106 FM, collecting one dollar from each listener, with a goal of $1.6 million dollars, for all 1.6 million listeners.
There are other funds set up, if you would please donate what you can, everything helps. It's time to unite, and do something as a nation. We must prevail.

Update:My two friends I spoke of earlier are okay...
Later I realized I had more friends possibly in harms way...
One of them, a flight attendent for American, wasn't on the flights. She is okay.
Another one, is missing. He worked on the 100th floor of WTC #2, and his wife has not heard from him.
Although I fear the worst already, I am still waiting for confirmation...hanging on to a string of hope.
Please be okay. Please.

Okay, this is just crazy. I woke up to Kain telling us to wake up, because "we're under-attack!".
Then I turned on the TV to CNN and wow...I was in shock! I couldn't believe it! This is an attack! Four, maybe five planes have been hi-jacked, 4 of which have crashed already, 3 of which crashed into important buildings in the US! How did someone hi-jack that many planes on the same day? That's just crazy! Our airport security really sucks!
Ugh, I'm tired, but I can't sleep, and I work at noon.
My thoughts go out to all the families of the souls affected, injured or deceased.

Well no picture for today, because I haven't taken any new photos lately, been kinda busy with work and stuff.
Anyhoo, today there was an earthquake, only a 4.2, and it's epicenter was somewhere 2 miles west of West Hollywood. So needless to say, it didn't jostle me around any. The stuff in the store did shake though. I was standing there playing hangman with my co-worker, and the lights and things shook for about 4 seconds, then it stopped. And I was like "Oh well, back to hangman." But my co-worker, she has never been in an earthquake, so she was like "Was that an earthquake, was it, was it?! I'm gonna piss my pants!" and then she ran around the store all wild like. :0P Strange little girl.
I should get to bed or something! Night!

Use common sense to survive.
What's wrong with Fortune Cookies today? I bought my dinner at Panda Express tonight, and got the traditional fortune cookie to go along as my snack after my fine meal of chow mein and egg rolls. I was looking forward to what wise and destined path my cookie would lead me during my whole meal. So I finish and eat my cookie (because the fortune won't come true unless you eat the whole cookie first!), and then I read it...and it says "YOU ARE COMPASSIONATE AND FUN-LOVING".
Excuse me?! WHAT?!?! THAT'S MY FORTUNE?!? THAT IS WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO ENLIGHTEN MY WHOLE BEING?!? MY EXISTENCE ON THIS EARTH IS SUPPOSED TO BE GUIDED BY THOSE WORDS?!?! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?
God damn stupid cookie! If I wanted a pat on the back, I would have gotten a "Compliment Cookie", even though they don't exist, but yet, they do because that's what fortune cookies have turned into!!!! ARGH!
My day otherwise, went pretty well. Just waiting for Danielle to call me back, then I'm headed over for some movie watching.

Okay, so you're all looking at the photo above and thinking I am some pervert stalker on the beach with a camera, but I'm not! This is art baaaaaaaaby! :0P Anyhoo, she's my friend Zoe' and I had her permission to snap some photos, so there! Pretty hot though, huh?!? Hehe.
Anyway, some good news. I was contacted by some people I sent my resume to today, they want to set up an interview! Yay! If I get this job, which is a youth outreach program, and working with computers with youth, then no more minimum wage for me! That's a very good thing! Boo Tower records for paying minimum wage! :0P So I set the interview for Monday, in which I'll get interviewed by the youth, staff, and board members of this outreach group called Y.O.U.. They have a website, but I don't want to show you, because...well...it sucks. Trust me...it's hosted on homestead.com...and made with their editor program, so you KNOW it sucks. Maybe that could be a project I can do for them...make a website with no animated graphics. :0P Anyhoo, wish me luck!
I also received my $300 tax cut check today, which has come almost two weeks late, due to my change of address and mail forwarding issues. Bah. Anyhoo, I know it's bringing down the economy, and sending the US into debt once again (thanks a lot Bush, you idiot!), I'm sorta happy to see the check, because I kinda need it right now. :0P Bush is still an idiot though...it's projected that the US will be 9 billion dollars in debt thanks to his awesome idea. I say we throw him out, and let a monkey do his job...
I bet a monkey could throw a wild party in the white house...

Um, where are my roommates? They were all supposed to be home tonight I thought, yet nobody is here! Wooooo more punk rock on the stereo then! :0P
I worked tonight, which was actually good cuz I got time and a half for working this holiday. Which means the 7 1/2 hours I worked today actually get clocked as 11 1/4 hours. Woo, made some bank...even if the pay is crappy. :0P
I got passes to the Dead Kennedys record release party September 26th, and I'm also going to The Misfits 25th Anniversary show November 15th! Woooooo! Someone share in my excitement! I love working at Tower...even though I'm looking for other employment. :0P
My ex-roommate Erica called right as I walked in the door for my lunch break tonight, she talked to me for about 10 minutes while I made some turkey burgers...she wants to call back when the rest of the roommies are home so she can talk to us all. It was good to hear from her, even though she was quite bitchy to me near the end of her stay in my apartment...but she blames it on her boyfriend (who used to live in this apartment), who I guess screwed her over at the end of their relationship. Oh what drama. :0P
Okay, well I should head to bed sooooooooooooon, but not just yet, cuz I'm not tired. But I have to work at noon tomorrow. Tomorrow is my friday! Yay! :0)

Well tonight is my last night of peace and quiet in the apartment. Okay, maybe not quiet, since I've been playing punk rawk on my surround sound speakers the whole time! Woot!
Estevan and Tyrico will be driving back from wherever it is they're at, and Kain will be flying in tomorrow night sometime I do believe. I hope he has a ride from LAX, because I'm sure as hell not goin' to pick him up! I gotta work at 4pm, so blah to that! :0P
Tomorrow is like my Thursday, since I get Wed-Thursday off. :0P Work week comin' to an end soon..woo! I get paid on Friday, woo! Then all of that money is going to rent, blaaaaaah. :0(
I'll be getting my headshots done soon, then hopefully I'll get started on the audition process once again, and get some acting work! Something I can put my talent towards, woo! :0P
